Catherine is a registered member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH), the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), and the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), and adheres to their codes of conduct, which are publicly available on their websites.

How we work together

Catherine aims to provide the very highest levels of service. She aims to treat clients with respect and care at all times, and to always work in a collaborative and professional manner. It is important to understand that, whilst hypnosis is undoubtedly powerful, your commitment to the process is required. Listening to the provided download, considering the contents of each session, and being willing to make changes, will all form part of that commitment.

Hypnotherapy and your health

Catherine Hartle-Driver is not medically trained and so is unable to diagnose medical conditions. Neither should hypnotherapy replace mainstream treatment for any medical condition. If at any time you are concerned about specific symptoms, your health in general, or whether you should undertake hypnotherapy sessions, you should consult your GP or another appropriately qualified medical professional.

Session duration

The aim is to complete most sessions in 50 to 55 minutes, but you are advised to allow one hour. Sessions should not last longer than 60 minutes unless otherwise agreed, for example a stop smoking session, as it is likely another client will be waiting to start their session. If you arrive late to your appointment, your session time will have to be reduced, and the full fee still applies.

Payment

Please check the pricing page for current fees. Payment is generally taken at the end of each session, by bank transfer (BACS) or cash. A receipt or invoice can be provided, and further details are in your Initial Consultation confirmation email. In some circumstances, payment by bank transfer must reach Catherine no later than the day of the appointment. Cheques are generally not accepted unless agreed in advance.

Cancellations

Two full working days' notice is required to cancel or rearrange a hypnotherapy appointment without incurring a late cancellation fee. Less than two full working days' notice, and more than one working day's notice, will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

Contact between sessions

Contact between hypnotherapy appointments is not normally needed, except where it becomes necessary to change the time or date of an appointment. If that does become necessary, please contact Catherine by text or telephone.

Confidentiality and your data

What you share is treated in the strictest confidence. How your information is collected, stored, and kept is set out in full in the Client GDPR Policy.

Children and young people

Catherine has many years' experience supporting children and teenagers. Where a client is under 18, a parent or legal guardian gives consent to the work and stays involved as appropriate. The consent form below has a section for a parent or guardian to complete on a young person's behalf.

Online clients based outside the UK

Catherine Hartle-Driver is based in the UK, and these terms are governed by UK jurisdiction.
