When I first started working with Catherine, I was in a difficult place with anxiety after
losing my job and going through a long period of instability. Over eight sessions, her blend
of clear explanations about how the brain processes stress, weekly check-ins, and
hypnotherapy has made a huge difference to my day-to-day life.
I feel more in control and able to do things that once felt overwhelming. Catherine’s

It works! I was sceptical about hypnotherapy before I met with Catherine and had never
considered it as a way to stop smoking. After a lifetime of smoking, I was desperate to stop
and willing to try anything.
Catherine was amazing. The session was nothing like I had imagined. She made me feel
comfortable, safe and listened to. I have been a non-smoker from that day, nearly eight

I am very grateful to Catherine and would highly recommend her services.
I feel in a much better place than before seeing Catherine for therapy. I was having feelings
of total overwhelm and paralysis, resulting in crying and feelings of hopelessness. I am
really glad to say that I don't experience those same feelings on a regular basis to the
same degree since my sessions with her. I feel my general mood is better and I am kinder to
myself, which is making space for me to be more productive. Rather than feeling that things
are getting worse and out of my control, I now feel that I am making progress in my life and
that things are improving and possible.
In the sessions she was very kind and patient. She explained how the process works, which I
found very interesting and helpful. She gave me space to talk about my problems whilst
helping me to focus on the positives and plan how I could move forward. I never felt rushed
and she always had time to listen, answer my questions and explore things.
The session would end with a relaxation exercise, in which she would talk me through a
visualisation, but there was no pressure to actually listen or visualise, resulting in a
really deep relaxation. I found her voice calming and soothing and I felt very safe. She
gave me a recording of the relaxation exercise, which I listened to every night, and still
do. It helps me get to sleep and I believe contributes to my wellbeing. Each session had a
similar pattern.
